I think it's the black and white keys that get her attention, though she also seems to be fascinated by the music sheets (also black and white).

And in the case of green beans, it's definitely the green that gets the attention. Green in and green out might I say! She definitely liked the zuccini/carrot mix far better than the green beans.

Rolling + Dumbo, Brooklyn + a Maltese Sunday

Roll Roll Rosalie, Gently over the bed,
Merrily merrily merrily merrily
Life is but a dream.
Yup, she's rolling!

This was a rather sleepy weekend! We had two nights in a row of uninterrupted sleep (miracle!!) And during the day it was hard to wake her too. Here's a video clip of her frowning in her sleep when being gently woken.

Saturday was nice and warm, so we headed to Dumbo in Brooklyn to hang with Sharron, Josh and Gautam who was visiting from Madison. Some of the entertainment approaches Sharron for Rosalie included practicing her graceful dance moves and rocking her in the stroller, the latter eliciting occasional squeals of delight.

And finally, Sunday was an awful rainy day - a perfect day for a Maltese gathering at home with hot tea and cakes, and a very playful baby! She was fascinated by the camera at one point, so we got a few good portrait shots.

Central Park with Aunty Dorothy

It was gorgeous today! We hit Central Park for a few hours and she loved it. Before the park, she took a 3 hour nap from which it was impossible to rouse her, probably because she was in Boobland. When Dorothy arrived, she dressed her up in the skirt-pants combo - very stylish! And then we were off! Here are some pics from the photo session we had in the park. She really is a little poser eh! Oh, and check out this video where she slips right back into sleepy Boobland in the midst of all the park noise and activity.

Rosalie is now 4 and a half months old. She is picking up toys with her hands and cooing and laughing, though it's hard to capture those moments on video! The phone game is still a favorite and Itsy Bitsy Spider also elicits a big toothless smile. And then there's bathtime - yippeee!
